The Mid Atlantic Working Dog Club is proud to host the 2008 Northeast Regional Schutzhund Championships on September 20 and 21, 2008, in Carlisle, PA. The Hotel Carlisle will be the Host Hotel and its 13 acres, the venue for Obedience and Protection, and practice field.

Tracking fields are located approx. 20 minutes from the hotel.  Tracking will be on hay grass. 

Judging the Event are USA Judge Nikki Banfield, Tracking; and USA/DPO Judge Bill Szentmiklosi, Obedience and Protection. Mid Atlantic is very grateful to both of these fine Judges for taking time from a busy trial season to Judge our Regional Championship.

General Info

Advancement of Titles:  Dogs may advance to SchH 2 and SchH 3 titles, but not from Bh to SchH 1. 

Blinds will be set up from left to right.

For obedience, there will be a large banner centered at the far side of the field.

The practice field will be open to competitors on Friday, September 19, 2008, beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Practice times will be arranged in 15 minute intervals.  Each competitor will have 15 mins. to practice; this will be strictly enforced.  Times will not be reserved in advance; sign up for practice when you arrive.
